Ann Burre, MA
Ann Burre has been a dispensing audiologist for over 25 years in a variety of settings. She graduated with a Masters degree from California State University Northridge. She originally chose Audiology because it combines 3 things she really enjoys: science, technology and helping people in a hands-on environment.
Ann is able to evaluate a full range of audiologic problems in infants through senior citizens utilizing specialized tests, including OAE, ABR and ENG. She is also skilled at making custom ear molds.
Ann is nationally certified by ASHA (the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) and AAA (the American Academy of Audiology). She also holds Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing California State licenses.
Ann understands that the needs of each patient are different based on age, personality and personal history. She enjoys and is especially good at working with children.
Ann has been happily married for 20 years and has 3 boys, including 2 off at college. She has lived in Santa Barbara for more than 20 years. She enjoys many hobbies, including camping, traveling & photography. She is also involved in numerous activities; she belongs to a book club, the High School PTSA board and a Bunco group. She makes sure to donate blood regularly.
